Imazapyr 4 SL (2.5 gal)

Imazapyr 4 is a non-selective, post-emergent herbicide for long-term residual control of annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds, woody brush and trees in forestry settings. Imazapyr 4SL provides outstanding control on hardwoods and is soil active providing extended control of these species when applied in conifer forests. Imazapyrs' soil activity makes it an exceptional tank-mix partner pre- and mid-season with other bareground pre-emergents on utility sites to control below ground what may have already germinated.

Environmental Hazards:

This product is toxic to plants. Drift and run-off may be hazardous to plants in water adjacent to treated areas. Do not apply to water except as specified on this label. Treatment of aquatic weeds may result in oxygen depletion or loss due to decomposition of dead plants. Do not treat more than one-half the surface area of the water in a single operation and wait at least 10 to 14 days between treatments. Begin treatments along the shore and proceed outward in bands to allow aquatic organisms to move into untreated areas. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters or rinsate. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. DO NOT apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. Alligare Imazapyr 4 SL should be used only in accordance with directions on the booklet label. Keep containers closed to avoid spills and contamination. Alligare Imazapyr 4 SL may be applied using helicopters, ground operated sprayers, low- volume hand-operated spray equipment such as back-pack and pump-up sprayers, and tree injection equipment. Observe all cautions and limitations in the labels of products used in combination with Alligare Imazapyr 4 SL.
